About Me

Humans share knowledge though stories.  We learn of our past, our present, and our future through stories.  Stories pervade our lives, our cultures, our viewpoints.  Word by word, they alter who we are.

I'm writer working towards publication, or at least monetary compensationAs a child I fell in love with fairy tales, everything from Grimm Brothers to Disney, and I never grew out of the belief that magic is real and all around us. Most grown-ups don't call it magic, but it's there all the same.
You need to believe in things that aren't true. How else can they become?  -- Terry Pratchett
Here I will warble on about writing, books, news, happenings, ponderings, and any randomness that catches my attention.  This could anything from my battle with the bunnies who believe my flower bed is their salad buffet to any particular deep thoughts about what I'm reading at the time.  The only goal is to entertain myself and hopefully entertain others.
Humans need fantasy to be human, to be the place where the falling angel meets the rising ape. -- Terry Pratchett
